WorldCell offers its customers a number of
voice minute packages to help control and contain costs. Once you exceed your minutes there is one low-fixed per
minute cost for all your national calls. Now it has gotten easier
to manage your Commands usage and you will always know what you are
paying.
All incoming calls are free when you are in your home country.

No matter where your service is based you will have international
roaming. To learn where you will be able to roam select from the
country list to the left where your service is based and select
roaming map.

WorldCell provides BlackBerry service to help you stay connected
to your Command.
Ordering the BlackBerry service involves a number of different
options and requirements. First you need to determine if you are
going to use the BlackBerry as a phone and e-mail device or just as
an e-mail device. Then you need to order the service package of
data only or data and a voice minutes package. Next you need to
order the BlackBerry data package. Often there is an intial set-up
charge associated with establishing the BlackBerry service in a
particular country. Also there are options for the type of device.
Finally you need to determine if your Command requires you to follow
the DOD guidelines and need to order a Common Access Card (CAC)
reader and S/MIME software.
The final step in making it all work is connecting to your e-mail
server. WorldCell offers the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software
and device client licenses. If you don’t know if you have all the
pieces in place to connect to your e-mail server check with your
e-mail administrator or contact WorldCell to learn more about what
is required.
WorldCell can enable BlackBerry in countries where it is not
offered. As long as a local network carrier has a GPRS network and
the correct roaming agreement in place WorldCell can provide a cost
effective BlackBerry solution. WorldCell calls this program the
Global BlackBerry. It is a low-fixed cost option that has enabled a
number of Commands to become connected when before it seemed
impossible. Contact WorldCell to learn more.

WorldCell offers Short Message Service (SMS) also known as text
messaging. Like calls, all incoming messages are free but when you
want to get the word out there are pay-per-message, 40 messages and
100 messages per month packages. SMS does have to ordered for the
service to be turned on, there is no cost to turn it on only a cost
to use it.

WorldCell has partnered with General Dynamics to support their
line of secure phones the Sectéra (type 1) and TalkSecure (non-type
1). To enable these devices to work you need to have a second
number activated with your voice service. This number is often
referred to as a Data number. The technical name for this number is
a Circuit Switched Data number. As a specialist in enabling secure
communications WorldCell continues to look for ways of enabling
these services.

WorldCell offers General Packet Radio Service, aka GPRS, the
service that enables surfing the web on your device. GPRS also
enables you to use the Multimedia Messaging Service, MMS which is
similar to SMS but allows you to send pictures and longer text
messages. GPRS is not initially activated and needs to be
specifically ordered to enable the service.

The WorldCell Enterprise Wireless Contract enables the expansion
into new emerging technologies not yet realized. WorldCell will
continue to offer the cutting edge in technology to insure that our
war-fighters are the best equipped.
